Time Allocation : 15 Minutes
Standard of Competence
4. Analyzing the correlation between ecosystem components, energy and materials change, with the role of human in ecosystem balance.
Basic Competency
4.2. Explaining the correlation between human activities with pollution problems and environment conservation
Indicator to Achieve the Competence
1. Describing human activity of sand mining that makes environment damage
2. Explaining the effect from human activity of sand mining to environment damage
Learning Objectives
1. Students are able to describe human activity of sand mining that makes environment damage
2. Students are able to explain the effect from human activity of sand mining to environment damage
Subject Matter
Human activity of beach sand mining is activities of exploring beach sand by mining with many instrument. Exploring beach sand by makes gravings in beach or coastal area. The effect of making gravings can give effect in environment, like :
1. Damaged ecocystem in beach, so living things in beach area can not survive
2. Giving pollution from shipping liner truck in their activities
3. Decrease of beach sand that can help preventing of erathquake
4. Errosion
5. Decrease the habitat of living things in beach
But, there are many of society importance like economic needs that dependent in this project, that is beach sand mining. Beside that, in human life there are need beach sand to improve the quality of human life.
